Motor City Wash Works introduced their Tunnel equipment in 2007, known as “ The Wash Street Series”. Motor City has at least 10 new patents pending that will make wash operations user friendly and keep operating costs to a minimum.

Motor City introduced five new products in 2008. These included the “Crossover” Wrap Around to thoroughly wash the front, sides and rear of vehicles at conveyor line speeds of up to 180 cars per hour, while only using a foot print of 14 Ft. of floor space.

Next was, the “Accelerator Top Wheel”, only using a foot print of 6 Ft. of floor space.

Then there is the “Axis High Pressure Robotic Arch, contouring all vehicle shapes, while delivering 81 GPM @ 1000 PSI of water, using only a foot print of 6 Ft. of floor space.

The fourth is the “Air One Dryer” using brand matching color “Skinz” and high efficiency 10 HP air producers in any combination of producers depending on conveyor length and line speeds.

The last model introduced is the FTB Mitter Curtain packs four racks of cleaning power into six feet of floor space.

Another new feature of the Motor City friction equipment is “Color Skinz”, an all new way to color co-ordinate your wash equipment to your facility. Color Skinz plastic simply snaps into place over the structural aluminum frame of the equipment. For all the rainy days spent trying to clean the metal structures of car wash equipment, Color Skinz” make perfect sense for ease of maintenance. Color Skinz create a fantastic marketing advantage for equipment to brand to match building and company colors.
